Letters Patent of 11 January 2016

Maximilian, King of Æfira and of Our other Realms and Territories, to all to whom these Presents shall come, or whom the same may in any way concern, Greeting!

Know ye that We do by these Presents appoint and assign unto Ourself the Arms following, that is to say Per fess gules and azure on a fess wavy between in chief an open book and in base scales of justice all or five torteaux, and for the Crest a demi-ram argent armed and unguled or bearing a banner azure charged with a phoenix or rising from flames proper, and for Supporters two rams argent armed and unguled or, the dexter bearing a quill and the sinister a scepter both or, both statant upon a grassy mount vert strewn with roses gules and trillium flowers argent, with the Motto “Ratio, Libertas, Justitia”, as are all herein more plainly depicted, to be borne and used for ever hereafter by Us and by Our descendants with due and proper differences and according to the Laws of Arms.
