Letters Patent of 18 December 2008

To Our most loyal and noble Subjects and trusty Counsellors the Lords and Our most loyal Subjects and trusty Counsellors the Commons in this Our present Parliament assembled, We, Maximilian, King of Æfira and of Our other Realms and Territories, send Greeting!

Whereas, for the deliberation of certain weighty and urgent affairs concerning the state and defense of Our Kingdom of Æfira, We did lately order Our said Parliament to be held at Our City of Riverdale on the fifteenth day of January in the year 2008, and there to treat and have conference with the Lords and Commons of this Realm; and whereas Our said Parliament was at the said place and on the said day begun and held and is there now held; and whereas, for certain pressing causes and considerations, We have thought fit to dissolve Our said Parliament:

Know ye that We do by these Presents dissolve Our present Parliament.

And, for the deliberation of certain weighty and urgent affairs concerning the state and defense of Our Kingdom of Æfira, We furthermore order a Parliament to be held at Our City of Riverdale on the twelfth day of January next, and there to treat and have conference with the Lords and Commons of this Realm.

Witness Ourself at Our City of Riverdale this eighteenth day of December in the year of Our Reign the second, the year of the Kingdom of Æfira the second and the year of the Christian era the two thousand and eighth.
