An Act to amend the Constitution to alter the manner of enacting amendments to the Constitution.

Be it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords and Commons in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, two-thirds of the said Lords and Commons concurring therein, as follows:
1. The Constitution of the Kingdom of Æfira is hereby amended by substituting for the text of section 7 of chapter IV the text following:
No amendment to this Constitution, or to the Act of Parliament which brought it into force, nor any Act of Parliament which is inconsistent with this Constitution, shall be enacted, except with the approval of two thirds of the members of each House of the Parliament and with the Royal Assent, or with the approval of all the members of each House but without the Royal Assent.
2. This Act may be cited as the Constitution (First Amendment) Act 2008.
