An Act to Regulate the Quotation of Literary and Other Artistic Works.

Be it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Temporal and Spiritual in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
[1] That no citizen of this most noble Realm shall quote orally any work of literature or art, except that the said citizen is familiar with the said work and that the said quote is accurate and correct in all respects.
[2] That this Act may be cited as the Quote Act 2007.
