An Act to Limit the Definition of Treason.

Be it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords and Commons in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. The act of introducing any bill into either House of Parliament, or moving any motion therein, or saying anything in the proceedings thereof, or casting or declining to cast any vote therein, shall not constitute treason.

2. This Act may be cited as the Treason Act 2008.
