An Act to Provide for a Civil List to His Majesty and for Salaries to the Ministers and Officers of the Crown.

Be it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords and Commons in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
[1] That the Sovereign shall be paid from the Treasury one hundred æans each Tuesday.
[2] That every Lord of Parliament shall be paid from the Treasury fifteen æans each day that he or she attends a sitting of the House of Lords.
[3] That every Member of Parliament shall be paid from the Treasury twenty æans each day that he or she attends a sitting of the House of Commons; that the Speaker of the said House shall be paid a further ten æans; and that every Member of Parliament shall be paid a further five æans each day that he or she acts in the capacity of deputy Speaker of the House of Commons.
[4] That every Lord Justice shall be paid from the Treasury ten æans each day that he or she attends a sitting of the High Court of Justice; and that the Lord Chief Justice shall be paid a further five æans.
[5] That every Appellate Justice shall be paid from the Treasury five æans each day that he or she attends a sitting of his or her court; and that the Presidents of the Civil Appeals Court and Central Criminal Court shall be paid a further five æans.
[6] That every Circuit Judge shall be paid from the Treasury five æans each Tuesday.
[7] That every Justice of the Peace shall be paid from the Treasury two æans each Tuesday.
[8] That the Lord High Chancellor shall be paid from the Treasury twenty æans each Tuesday.
[9] That the Lord High Treasurer, the Lord High Constable, the Lord High Admiral, the Lord Advocate and every Secretary of State, excepting the Secretary of State for Elections, shall be paid from the Treasury fifteen æans each Tuesday.
[10] That the Lord High Chamberlain shall be paid from the Treasury ten æans each Tuesday.
[11] That the Commissioner of Police, the Postmaster General, the President of the Board of Health, the Registrar General, the Comptroller of the Royal Household, the Private Secretary to the Sovereign, the Lord Mayor of Riverdale and the Governor of the Bank of Æfira shall be paid from the Treasury eight æans each Tuesday.
[12] That the Lord Privy Seal, the Principal Herald of the Realm, the Keeper of the Privy Purse and the Commissioner of the Crown Estate shall be paid from the Treasury two æans each Tuesday.
[13] That this Act may be cited as the Salaries (No. 2) Act 2008.
