Bank of Æfira Act 2008

An Act to Establish a National Bank.

Be it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords and Commons in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. The Governor and Company of the Bank of Æfira shall be incorporated under the aforementioned name, and shall serve as the sole and exclusive banker for the Government and citizens of the Kingdom of Æfira.

2. His Majesty shall appoint the Governor of the said Bank; but no person shall be so appointed who shall have been convicted of treason or felony, unless Parliament shall by law direct otherwise.

3. This Act may be cited as the Bank of Æfira Act 2008.
