Judiciary Act 2008

An Act to Reform the Judicial System of the Kingdom of Æfira, and for Related Purposes.

Be it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords and Commons in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1.  The High Court of Justice shall have original and exclusive jurisdiction in all cases at law, whether civil or criminal, excepting trials on impeachment by the House of Commons.
4.  The House of Lords shall have no jurisdiction in any case at law, including those to which a Peer of the Realm is a party, excepting trials on impeachment by the House of Commons.
5.  This Act may be cited as the Judiciary Act 2008.
