An Act to Limit the Powers of His Majesty with Respect to the Conduct of Foreign Affairs and the Granting of Citizenship, and to Provide for the Succession to the Crown.

Be it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Temporal and Spiritual and Commons in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
[1] That the King’s most Excellent Majesty shall not grant citizenship to foreigners, nor revoke the citizenship of citizens of the Kingdom of Æfira, nor ratify treaties with foreign nations, nor declare war or peace, without the consent of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Æfira.
[2] That the Heir to the Throne Act 2007 is repealed, and shall henceforth be of no force and effect.
[3] That, upon the demise of the Crown, the Parliament of the Kingdom of Æfira shall meet and convene, and shall elect from among the citizens of the Kingdom of Æfira a Sovereign, and that the Crown and Throne of the Kingdom of Æfira, and of the Dominions and Territories thereunto belonging, and the Royal state and dignity of the said Realms, and all honors, styles, titles, prerogatives, powers, authorities, immunities and rights belonging and appertaining to the same, shall descend and belong by right to that Sovereign for the remainder of the life of the same.
[4] That this Act may be cited as the Royal Prerogative and Succession Act 2008.
